Exhibitor Space Sold Out, 2026 Show Opens Registration

The exhibitor floor for the 2026 Building Industry Show has sold out, but registration remains open for homebuilding professionals seeking access to Southern California’s leading builders, trade partners and service providers.

Booth Space Sold Out as Attendance Opens

Organized by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, the event will return to Indian Wells in September. More than 1,000 industry participants are expected, and the two‑day schedule promises a mix of business‑to‑business networking, education sessions and entertainment.

All available exhibitor booths have been claimed, and the association is now directing interested companies to a waiting list via the contact email provided. The confirmed homebuilders include Lennar Homes, CBC Homes, Crestwood Communities, Davidson Communities, Meritage Homes, Pacific Communities, Richmond American, Risewell Homes, Shea Homes, Toll Brothers, Tri Pointe Homes and Warmington Residential, with additional names pending.

What Attendees Can Expect

The show features over 100 exhibitor booths where builders and housing professionals will display the latest trends, products and services. One‑on‑one meetings are scheduled throughout the floor, giving participants a chance to connect directly with decision‑makers.

Unique elements include casino‑style gaming tables that let attendees mingle while competing for prizes such as a Hawaiian getaway, a pro‑sports ticket package, luxury golf trips to Pebble Beach Resorts and Pelican Hill Golf Club, and concert tickets for Bruno Mars and Metallica at the Las Vegas Sphere.

Two legendary rock bands will perform live at Acrisure Arena, adding a concert‑like atmosphere to the traditional trade show setting.

Beyond the exhibit hall, the schedule features a Builders vs. Associates Golf Tournament, a live broadcast with interviews from the floor, and a Davidson Communities wine tasting paired with a guided tour of a model home at Cotino™, the new Storyliving by Disney community in the Coachella Valley.

Educational sessions will address current challenges and innovations in homebuilding, while reception events aim to create relaxed networking among builders, developers, suppliers and other key players.

The evening program includes a Chapter Board Installation Gala Dinner, honoring incoming chapter presidents, board members and volunteers.

One past attendee remarked, “There is no trade show like BIS. The builders come to the exhibitor floor and stay due to all the important industry strategic meetings, networking programs and entertainment throughout the day and night.”

Jeff Montejano, chief executive officer of the association, said the 2026 edition was crafted to “create an event where meaningful business relationships happen naturally – all in a fun, festive environment.” He added that the format moves away from a conventional trade show, emphasizing interactive experiences that encourage conversation and partnership.

From a broader perspective, events like this serve as a barometer for regional construction trends. When a large gathering fills its exhibitor slots ahead of time, it signals strong confidence among manufacturers and service firms that the market will sustain growth, especially in a high‑cost environment where supply chains remain tight.

The presence of major builders also draws ancillary businesses, reinforcing the ecosystem that supports home construction.

Attendees can secure their spot through the official website, and sponsors seeking additional visibility are encouraged to explore the options listed there.

Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells will host the show, offering a convenient venue for both the exhibition and associated social events.

The Building Industry Association of Southern California, with chapters spanning from Ventura to the southern tip of Orange County, has represented the region’s builders for more than a century. Its programs aim to anticipate and protect the interests of members through various councils, committees and services.
